Athletic/Physically Artistic
Theron is incredibly flexible, which he uses to his advantage. Singing and dancing are his favorite pastimes, right after martial arts. He has a particular weakness for aerial silks. If you want art done, however, do not come to him. Stick figures are a work of art in his case. He just can't draw even if his life and the world itself depended on it. It's where his artistry skills end, and rather sharply at that.

Mixed Martial Artist
Theron's an accomplished MMA fighter, which catches most people off guard upon meeting him, being that he's so unassuming looking. It's common practice among the Wolves of Jaecar to learn several fighting styles and implement them in their missions. He began practicing various martial arts after his introduction to The Pack. The Alpha, Anikita, helped train him once he joined up. Some of the arts he's been practicing under the Pack's guidance are taekwondo, kyokushin karate, and muay thai, to name a few.

Tactile/Affectionate
He also has no concept of personal space if he trusts you and knows you're fine with being touched. If you are and he does? He'll absolutely crawl all over you, try to get piggyback rides, sleep on you, hug you, it doesn't matter. He's very touch-sensitive and almost needs the reassurance through physical contact. Theron's been told that his touch-dependency is from the lingering trauma of his past. He's highly affectionate, so be prepared for hugs and kisses if you're his friend. If given the opportunity, he will cuddle with damn near anyone willing. He may have some standards, but they aren't really that exacting.

No, really. The poor guy has real issues finding pants that fit him, given his small stature and gratuitous derriere. His work uniform had to be special ordered, much to his embarrassment. It's not uncommon to just find him wearing yoga pants, workout clothes, or even women's pants because nothing in men's fits . Not that that bothers him. He never was too big on the whole 'gender binary' thing. He'll wear makeup or whatever he finds nice if he so pleases, damn what anyone says. At this point, he's used to being objectified for his appearance, unfortunately. Though, anyone too aggressive in coming onto him makes him very uncomfortable and could cause him to have a panic attack.

Sweetheart

In his free time, you can find him on the streets or at the park putting on little shows with his talents for people, particularly kids, because he genuinely likes making people smile. He loves to love and loves to be loved. He's the kind of guy that'd hop out of his car and help a little old lady across the street or gets suckered into buying thirty boxes of girl scout cookies. If he sees a dog being walked, he absolutely gets excited and wants to pet it. Petting zoos are The Shit, in his humble opinion. Give him a kitten and he's liable to love you for eternity. Give him multiple kittens and he'll probably start tearing up.

Traumatized
He certainly has a lingering fear of loud, angry people; especially males. If he gets yelled at and it surprises him, chances are he'll subconsciously revert back to his submissive behaviors out of fear and instinct. Over the years, he's begun to control the unwanted actions through therapy, medication, and lifestyle choices. He has a wonderful support network in his friends and boyfriend that help him. Being a wolf, he's all but attempting to force the knee-jerk reactions out. As of late, he's found that only being surprised can bring out those particular feelings. He has severe nightmares, which is why he doesn't like sleeping alone. Theron still feels uncomfortable around people of power and aggressively flirtatious people, but he's working on it.

Optimist
The man is an undying optimist. Even with his history, Theron still sees the good in others and in the world. He joined the Pack in an effort to keep the good alive and prevent anyone else from going through horrors. He will fight until his dying breath to keep the world a little brighter. Anyone that tries to dampen his views is promptly ignored. He's stubborn in his positivity.

Feisty
Theron is a little spitfire, so long as he's not in a situation that would otherwise cause him to revert back to his submissive ways or need him to be serious. He's got little in the way of shame and reservations. Subconsciously, he feels there's nothing more he could feel ashamed about that he hasn't done or been through. He's a lot more...saucy than his innocent air would lead one to believe, particularly once inebriated. Should he go to the club or the bar, there's a good chance you'll find him doing body shots and dancing on the bar, tables, stage, or pole. Good luck to his friends and significant other when it comes to wrangling him in. He will, however, settle down in the case that there isn't a responsible person around out of the group. Theron will rise and become The Mom Friend in those cases. Beyond that, he can get pretty wild.

Caring
If you need a reliable friend, look no further. Theron is a very dependable and caring person all-around. You don't even need to be his friend to get his affection. He'd stop and hug a stranger that looks upset. He gets suckered into sob stories more than he'd like to admit. If anyone around him is upset, he'll stop what he's doing and attempt to cheer them up, or just listen to them. He's a crying shoulder, a hug, whatever comfort one might need. Theron's highly empathetic. It's to the point that he gets teary-eyed when anyone around him cries. Lord help him when those ASPCA commercials come on. The amount of money he spent donating is almost embarrassing. One could call him a bleeding heart, and they'd be absolutely right.

Trigger Warning
Given his history, Theron has some serious issues. There are certain topics that he feels very strongly about. Should someone condone human trafficking, sexual assault, slavery, or child abuse in any way, Theron will go ballistic. Have you ever seen a 5'6" man launch someone a foot taller than them out a window? It's almost surreal. He's a very sweet, happy-go-lucky guy up until those topics are broached and put in a positive light. Once someone even whispers about them being in any way good or victim-blaming, he will rise like the leviathan from Hell and tear someone apart. He's generally assigned to different cases because of his strong reactions.

Lingering Issues/Coping Mechanisms
Theron's a bundle of contradictions. He suffers from depression but is a 'glass-half-full' sort of guy. A sort of 'if I think it enough, eventually it'll be true' mentality. After all, if tomorrow is brighter then that's enough of a reason to get up. He's also guilty of mentally telling himself 'get over it, others have it worse'. Years of being trapped in human trafficking and hypersexualitzation have led him to develop a sort of touch dependency. His fear of initiating flirtations and being aggressively hit on stems from his objectification. He's known to cope with the first through humor, though he's yet to find an effective way to deal with persistent suitors that ends well for all parties involved. His hypersexualization could also be seen as the root of why he tends to get more sexual in nature after a few drinks and his lower all-around inhibitions concerning his body. He likes to have someone he trusts with him whenever he goes out just to ensure he doesn't do anything he'd regret later.


Theron was born in one of the poorer beachside cities near Aldedene; Ja'rik. He has very little memories of his father, as the man left before Theron's youngest brother, Cailan, was born. It was just his mother, his two younger brothers, and him. She was a hard-working and happy woman from Morrowik. To this day, he still remembers the lullaby she used to sing to them when they were upset or before bed.

He had a happy childhood in the lively city. The Carnival was his absolute favorite part of living in Ja'rik. There were many festivals and shows in the entertainment capital of the world. His love of dancing and music started up there. He wanted to take up dance lessons, but his mother was too poor to afford them; something she was ashamed about. Rather than be upset, he just smiled and let her know it was okay. He started practicing in the streets, watching others and trying to mimic them. Some humored him and taught the boy some moves. Theron was a very quick study in the language of body movements.

Then, when he was fourteen years old, his home was attacked. His family lived in the poor area, so crime was very common. Still, this wasn't the usual hit and run. No, they were slavers. Since the area was so destitute and Ja'rik was a popular spot for slavers to hit up, such crimes were often overlooked or barely glanced at, making them prime targets. Apparently, he had caught some eyes practicing in the streets. Theron was young and able. It made him a veritable cash sign in their eyes. The rest of the family were just added bonuses.

He tried to divert their attention from his family, despite his mother's efforts to keep him there. He did a pretty good job of it, as he was able to lure them from where his family hid via insults and attacks. His mother was able to get his two brothers out of the house but unknown to Theron, his youngest brother, six-year old Cailan, was still taken despite his mother's best efforts.

Theron was brutally beaten into submission by the intruders. They wound up breaking his left arm, both hands, four ribs, his jaw, and fracturing his left leg. He also suffered a concussion and lost a few teeth from the assault. When he finally awoke, he realized where he was with great horror.

It was the underground market where slavery was rampant. Despite his best efforts, he could not escape. Theron tried to resist, but they sold him to a rather frightening man. He was conditioned for years to be an Entertainment slave. During one particular event where his master showed him off, Theron garnered the attention of Cayex, the leader of the Underground Crime Network. When negotiations failed, Cayex killed his master and took Theron as his own. He remained under the rule of the vampire for nearly thirty years.

Theron was freed during a trip to Monseth. The fearsome guard only known as The Ghost found out where he was being kept and promptly broke in. He was absolutely terrified of the guard, but obeyed the being when he told Theron to follow. Eventually, he was led to another former slave, Anikita of The Wolves of Jaecar. She took in the terrified man and helped him to become the person he is today. She's the one that helped start training him in self-defense and initiated him into the Pack.

After years of intense training and working for The Wolves, Theron was finally presented with the opportunity to repay the guard for his freedom. After learning the guard was accused of treason and being set up for execution, Theron knew he had to help. The guard was revealed to be a human by the name of Husam al-Din Venatici, though he more often was referred to by his middle name, Antony. It didn't take much to convince Anikita to aid in the human's escape. Apparently, The Ghost had been a big help in the liberation of many slaves.

Freeing him was easy, it was the after part that was hard. Antony had been tortured for months in an effort to get the man to give a false confession. They wanted him to take the blame for the murder of the Monseth royal family. It left the man weak and damaged in more ways than one. Theron was still intensely scared of Antony, despite the fact that Antony freed him. It didn't help that he went a little mad with anger and trauma and became The Monster of Monseth. Ripping out spines and strangling others with them wasn't the most healthy coping mechanism, in Theron's opinion.

Then, they caught word that Antony's cousin, Jackson, was the next to take the fall. It would look bad if The Ghost had escaped custody, so the usurpers used Jack as a scapegoat and pretended he was the elusive guardian. It took a few Pack members to keep the enraged Antony from attempting to storm the castle by himself. He was too injured to save his cousin. So, Theron did it for him.

It was from that point on that their relationship started to blossom. Theron was far too nervous to even attempt to flirt with the man. Though, admittedly, he wasn't very good at pretending to not to be checking Antony out. It was the other man that started the flirtations, which, after the shock and embarrassment wore off, Theron went along with happily.

He's also been on the search for any of his possible children. Given how long he was held and the nature of how he was kept, he's very well aware that he probably has kids. He won't rest until he finds them to make sure they aren't suffering as he did.
