Races

[PTab=HUMANS]On Bellicose you can be three types of humans, earthborn, moonborn, and planetborn. There is no physiological distinction between these types. The only difference these have are cultural differences. Keep in mind that outliers do exist and it is possible to have an earthborn who has the planetborn ideas on gender and vice-versa.




Earthborn humans are just as they sound, humans who were born on Earth and travelled to Bellicose at some point in their lives. They bring earthen culture and mannerisms, and are the most culturally different of the humans. They still have the idea that skirts are feminine and males shouldn't wear them and what not. They also believe that make-up shouldn't be worn by men and are basically how they are today. Gendered items are still a thing to earthborn humans and they will argue that to the planetborn.




Moonborn humans are the second most common types of humans on Bellicose. They come from Bellicose's moon, Duellum. On Duellum, gender roles are more prominent than on Bellicose. Since Duellum was colonized by planetborn and Elves, the gender stigmas never applied there, until the earthen people came. They are the majority on Duellum and they brought the idea that the Males are the workers and females are the ones who do the house work. The clothing and make-up on Duellum, however, still follows planetborn and are non-gendered there.




The most common types of humans on Bellicose, planetborn people are born on Bellicose. They are raised in a world where gender stigmas and racism is virtually non-existent. These humans are the most comfortable with walking around in any clothes and almost all clothes are gender neutral and people are free to do what they'd like. [PTab=ELVES]

The elves of Bellicose are not your average elf stereotype, in fact, they are much more vicious than humans first thought them to be. Their teeth are extremely sharp, they have six to eight times more rod cells in their eyes than humans do, allowing them to see in the dark. Not as well as Jaurians, but better than humans and Curdah. Their eyes are quite similar to a feline's in the way their pupils turn to slits in the light and dilate in the dark as well as have a tapetum lucidum, giving an almost eerie glow in low-light environments. Elves are more carnivorous than humans and the second most vicious type of being on Bellicose. They are the first inhabitants of Bellicose and are the most religious out of the races. If left unattended, their nails grow to be quite long and sharp, like claws. Most elves keep their nails well-manicured to prevent accidents when dealing with others.

[PTab=JAURIANS]

Jaurians are the cat-like people who reside on Bellicose. Their skin tones are those of cool colors and their hair can be just about any color on the spectrum. The main reason Jaurians are so colorful is that they developed a wide range of colors in order to attract mates. However, this idea has gone out of practice. Their eyes are the strongest at seeing in the dark, but are also highly sensitive to the light due to Jaura being a rather dark planet. This is why most Jaurians' houses and shops are dark and if you see one in the light, they most likely are wearing special sunglasses to keep it dark. In addition to that, Jaurian eyes are bioluminescent and also range from any color. They are mainly carnivorous in nature and have the second best science departments. It was their joint efforts with the Bellicosian scientists that allowed the creation and utilization of kinetic micro-capacitors in cybernetic armor in both defensive and offensive ways.

The gender stigmas on Jaura are completely reversed, with the males being the ones on every issue of a swimsuit magazine and females doing the heavy lifting and going out to war. The Jaurians are the stealthiest race on Bellicose, being able to stalk the shadows despite their bioluminescent eyes. They are known for having the strongest alcohol of any race. It is so potent that merely dipping a pinky into it can get you smashed due to the alcohol absorbed through your skin. They are the second longest lived race on Bellicose, right behind demigods and before elves.

[PTab=CURDAH] Curdah are the stocky and very muscular people of Bellicose. Their muscle fibers are very dense and their bone structures are much thicker than all of the races. They come from a planet where the gravity is very high, thus making them shorter than every other race. The tallest Curdah can get are 5' and even that is very rare. Their language is untranslateable into any known language, so they go with a one-word description that others give them, such as Warrior or Handsome. They have the normal human skin tones and the same hair and eye colors as elves and humans do.

Because of their dense muscle fibers and heavy bone structure, they are capable of dealing out and withstanding great force. While they aren't very fast or acrobatic, they are quite hardy in constitution. Getting hit by a 2x4 is preferable to getting hit by a Curdah. They are commonly found among other planets, as the resources on their home planet have been all but completely used up, rendering it nigh unlivable. They, and those with specialized armor, are the only ones capable of visiting Curda safely. They are the shortest lived race on Bellicose.

[PTab=DEMIGODS]Demigods are the half god half any other race people who are on Bellicose. They are longer lived than any other races on the Planet and have the rare chance of gaining some form of power from their godly parent.

[PTab=IMMORTALS]There are a few different immortal species on Bellicose. Some of those species are: nymphs, vampires, monsters, demons, androids, and deities.
Nymphs - Nymphs are directly linked to Tythos and some of the most powerful beings on Bellicose. Depending on the type of nymph they are, they can control different elements. Some can control the ground and some can control anything related to the desert. Nymphs don't have a set gender, and they can switch between the genders as they please. Contraceptives generally don't work on nymphs, making it near impossible to not have children with nymphs. Seeing as they don't have a set gender, nymphs can change their voice at will, some going with a two-toned voiced.

Vampires - Vampires are another immortal being on Bellicose. Unlike stereotypical vampires, the Bellicosian vampires can go out in the sun and can easily hide their vampiric looks. They can range in skin tones, eye colors, and teeth shape, though most have long, needle-thin canines. The vampires have a power to essentially freeze a person with a look and they have superhuman strength and speed as well as the ability to see perfectly in the dark without any aid. Being as old and as powerful as they are, there aren't that many vampires, Smooth Criminal being the oldest and the 'Father' of all vampires.

Monsters - There aren't many monsters on Bellicose, and even fewer humanoid ones. The humanoid ones usually hide their monstrous parts or get 'corrective' surgery, such as Atticus. Nymphs can have children with these monsters, such as the Leviathan and Kelrynn producing Atticus. There is a chance you can be part monster, if you pray to a deity and get cursed by them.

Demons - Demons are possibly the rarest group to be on Bellicose. Only two, and one is half demon, are on the planet as of right now. They rarely take the time to come to this planet and they don't usually stay on the planet for long. Seeing a demon around is rare and most people don't ever see one in their lifetime.

Androids - There are three, and only three androids on Bellicose. There would be more, but the androids became sentient and killed the scientists, who attempted to create them as servants. The only exception was WAR-10ck, who had been considered a defunct prototype and sent to be deconstructed. They are given a designation code, which they base their names off of. An example of this is WAR-10ck calling themselves Warlock. Only one of the three were completed, Andronikos. One is a super soldier, Warlock, and the other two are gang members.

[PTab=MIXED]There is a possibility of being mixed races, such as a half elf and half jaurian person. All of the races on Bellicose can have kids with each other due to their compatable genetics with each other.
