The Factions of Bellicose
In Bellicose, there are several different factions spanning the planets. It's possible to play a character from any one faction, though some are harder to obtain entrance to than others. An example of the differences would be the Pack and the Resistance. A Pack member must be chosen by Jaecar himself and blessed, but a resistance member can simply join to support Maelynn with her quest of vengeance.
THE wolves of Jaecar
The Wolves of Jaecar, otherwise known as The Pack, are the selected acolytes of Jaecar and the elite fighters of Bellicose. They have special Nokidium infused armor that allows them to maneuver more fluently than almost anyone. These people are sent off on quests by Jaecar and are faced with harder challenges than others. However, Pack members are very very agile, with the exceptions of a few, and can climb almost anything thanks to their reverse propulsion gauntlets. If a person would like to leave the pack to settle down or to retire from that life, Jaecar will see the person off, and if a pack member were to perish in combat, their body will be buried with a tree that they chose upon entering the Pack.
Once initiated into the Pack, you will receive a unique set of nokidium-weave armor.
THE GANGS
Multiple gangs inhabit Bellicose; the main three being run by Andronikos, Kieran Lupo, and the Black Widow. These gangs consist of any race you can play as the most inclusive gang being the Syndicate. If you are interested in the gang members and would like to see a list of members for adoption, please message Nightwing or Red Robin.
- The Syndicate - Run by Andronikos The Syndicate is the largest and most feared gang on Bellicose, it is run by the only fully completed android, Andronikos. It consists of a multitude of people, the usual being assassins, mercenaries, and guards. This gang only accepts the best of the best, and if you do manage to get accepted, welcome to the big leagues. There is a fourth subgroup, the Forajida gang. The Forajida gang is the small subgroup of the Syndicate that hit the banks and is limited to a certain amount of people. In order to get into the Syndicate, one must try out for a position.
- Jantu - Run by Kieran Lupo Jantu is a gang native to Xandrial and is the second most powerful gang on Bellicose. It is open to new members and the only thing one must do to join is talk to Kieran about joining. They hang around Club Juicy a lot and run the fighting ring in Xandrial. Having numerous safe houses throughout Xandrial, a Jantaurian is safest in Xandrial. The Jantus wiped an entire rival gang out, leaving only one member alive in order to spread the word, Jantu was here to rule. However, Jantu is on good terms with the Syndicate, having a massive advantage that one could only hope for.
- Ravagers - Run by Black Widow The Ravagers are the final notable gang on Bellicose, being run by the famous Black Widow. This is an all female gang and they come from mainly Ja'Rik. What's ironic about this gang, however, is that they are the most violent and unforgiving gang on Bellicose. They'll attack people for the fun of it and have gained a reputation for draining people, regardless of gender, of their money and ruining their lives, if not out right murdering them. To join this gang, one must be pretty morally ambiguous and have at least one violent bone in their body.
The Resistance
The Resistance is an underground group of freedom fighters in Monseth. They're led by the former princess, Maelynn, and their goal is to reclaim the kingdom from the new tyrannical leaders. People who join this faction are expected to help in any way shape or form and there is no required past knowledge of fighting needed. Training can be given to people who want it, but there is also non-combative positions available for people such as advisors, medics and tacticians. People who have prior knowledge of fighting will usually be placed in the combative positions unless specified otherwise.
People can receive training from Jackson, Dillan, Leonardo, Jayce and sometimes even Maelynn herself.
Soldiers
There is a squad of Super Soldiers run by the military leader, Adam Shepherd. Each super soldier is hand-selected and tested before being admitted into the squad. Their missions often take them off-planet. As of right now, there are ten super soldiers on Bellicose. You may have an opportunity to become a super soldier if your character is in the military of any area. Each soldier gets a special suit of armor and cybernetic enhancements upon becoming a super soldier. They are gathered from everywhere, regardless of gender, race, or home. Once one becomes a super soldier, they are no longer aligned with their former military and are considered to be simply of the 'Bellicose Special Ops'.
Mages
Those blessed at birth by the Goddess Marika are given amazing power, but crippling restrictions on those powers. No more than ten mages ever exist at a time, for too many would upset the grand balance and those that lose control cause mass devastation. Each year, the mages must gather and take a trek to Marika's temple to pay their respects for their blessing. Should a mage not perform the ritual, Marika will tear their powers from their body, and perhaps even kill the offender.
A mage is easily recognizable by their unique eye colors. No two mage will ever have the same eye color and effect on their eyes.
A few examples of the six canon mages' eyes are:
- Sierra Shepherd - Her irises are almost smoke like, constantly moving with shades of grays, blacks and whites. When she uses her powers, Sierra eyes will emit a grey smoke when she uses her powers, the more power, the more smoke.
- Teodoro Jones - Theo's eyes look like their basically liquid gold. The golden irises shimmer and look like they slosh around when he moves his head even slightly. When he uses his powers for good, his eyes glow a bright gold, but if his intent is evil, they'll darken and emit a not as bright glow, almost looking in between a mixture of black and gold.
- Illiandra Tantris - Illiandra's eyes are very unique indeed. Both of her eyes are black and not even the smallest hint of color in them. When she uses her powers, however, that is when the fun starts. The black in her eyes will bleed out onto and under her skin, making her veins look black. The darkness will make its way down her face, but it won't drip, just feeding itself back into the veins.
- Jayce Venatici - Jayce's downside to his powers is the greatest, seeing as he has the most power out of the mages. If Jayce uses his powers for too long, it will slowly drive the elf insane. If his intent is evil it works at a faster pace, but if it's for good, it's slowed down. If used too long or too extensively, it will deteroriate his brain to the point that he will fall into a vegetative state.
- Isadora Slade - The downside to being able to control motion, is that when she uses her powers, time speeds up around her. She'll age rapidly and if she uses her powers for too long, she'll wind up killing herself within a matter of minutes.
- Xanjo Perun - Xanjo's downside to his power over gravity could also be the death of him and many others. While using his powers, Xanjo is also pushing the gravity onto himself, it being the strongest where he is at, and because of this, he has to stand completely still while using his powers, or else he risks breaking more than a few bones. Being pressed with so much gravity also causes his muscles to degenerate faster, but this can be combatted with copious amounts of exercise.
So as one can imagine, being a mage isn't as fun as one would think it to be. Though they don't let that bother them, seeing as the mages' powers are connected to their emotions. When mages are feeling angry or upset, their powers will flare up without them realizing it. This, in turn, can cause many around them to become harmed, or in the worst case scenario, the person will die.

Immortals
There are a few different immortal species on Bellicose. Some of those species are: nymphs, vampires, monsters, demons, androids, and deities.
Nymphs - Nymphs are directly linked to Tythos and some of the most powerful beings on Bellicose. Depending on the type of nymph they are, they can control different elements. Some can control the ground and some can control anything related to the desert. Nymphs don't have a set gender, and they can switch between the genders as they please. Contraceptives generally don't work on nymphs, making it near impossible to not have children with nymphs. Seeing as they don't have a set gender, nymphs can change their voice at will, some going with a two-toned voiced.
Vampires - Vampires are another immortal being on Bellicose. Unlike stereotypical vampires, the Bellicosian vampires can go out in the sun and can easily hide their vampiric looks. They can range in skin tones, eye colors, and teeth shape, though most have long, needle-thin canines. The vampires have a power to essentially freeze a person with a look and they have superhuman strength and speed as well as the ability to see perfectly in the dark without any aid. Being as old and as powerful as they are, there aren't that many vampires, Smooth Criminal being the oldest and the 'Father' of all vampires.
Monsters - There aren't many monsters on Bellicose, and even fewer humanoid ones. The humanoid ones usually hide their monstrous parts or get 'corrective' surgery, such as Atticus. Nymphs can have children with these monsters, such as the Leviathan and Kelrynn producing Atticus.
Demons - Demons are possibly the rarest group to be on Bellicose. Only two, and one is half demon, are on the planet as of right now. They rarely take the time to come to this planet and they don't usually stay on the planet for long. Seeing a demon around is rare and most people don't ever see one in their lifetime.
Androids - There are three, and only three androids on Bellicose. There would be more, but the androids became sentient and killed the scientists, who attempted to create them as servants. The only exception was WAR-10ck, who had been considered a defunct prototype and sent to be deconstructed. They are given a designation code, which they base their names off of. An example of this is WAR-10ck calling themselves Warlock. Only one of the three were completed, Andronikos. One is a super soldier, Warlock, and the other two are gang members.
Deities - Few deities take the time to visit Bellicose. Those that do usually disguise themselves, such as Sovereign and the Keeper. Major deities do this even less, with the exceptions of Incarnate, Jaecar, and sometimes Marika. It isn't often a deity will come to a person, but when they do it's a major event.
Heroes
Few beings are gifted with amazing abilities. Some of those people use their grand powers to help keep others safe. The League of Heroes is led by Khshayarsha and not all of he heroes have to have powers. Aiding the people is what they do best and the only adult demon has joined them. The powers that some of the members have include:
Time manipulation
Radiation Manipulation
Celestial magic
Shaping Reality itself
Villains
Those with great skill but only the desire to further themselves or create pandemonium fall within this group. They are under the command of Saint Stygian.
Acolytes
Some mortals are blessed by, and even work for, a deity. Those granted such close contact with the Celestial Realm are referred to as Acolytes.
