EVENTS
EVENT Types
There's also the Disaster Events. Such things are unavoidable as they affect multiple areas at once. Each area has a unique and devastating disaster that might occur.
Xandrial has lethal Snapfreezes.
Aerinon has Mudslides and Earthquakes.
Ja'rik has Hurricanes, Tsunamis, and Typhoons.
Monseth has large and vicious Sandstorms.
A 'siren' will be sounded if a detectable catastrophe is coming, giving the characters an opportunity to run for shelter.
There's also the Festivals of the Gods. Each of the major Deities has a unique festival in their honor, celebrated on their month.

OPTING OUT
Now, say you don't want your characters to have the chance of running into the Black Harrier and the Jackal Buzzard, all you would have to do is mark "Yes" on the opting out of events on your characters form, and for these two, put 'Yes - Harrier and Jackal.' Otherwise, we will mark you as opting out for wild encounters!
It's also possible to have a character available for events in general but opt out in specific threads. Simply put [NE] in the title of your thread to lets us know you aren't interested in anything occurring for that specific thread!
